In order to avoid too much difficulty with traffic regulations the convoy may have to be restricted to 60 vehicles, which should be of Second World War vintage and of all allied nations.

Area Report June 2019

Pete Ridley’s 1963 Hotchkiss is restored as 6th armored division 101st infantry (Pete got fed up with seeing 101st Band of Brothers jeeps!) so decided to do something different.

He also chose to have Military Police on the windshield base as he participates in shows for Hampshire Constabulary from time to time.

By the time you read this we will have done all sorts of exciting things, been to many exotic locations, and watched loads of mad people jumping with round canopies from massed vintage aircraft!

See you under a parachute somewhere!

Pete’s great uncle was in 6 Commando and it is thought he participated in the North African landings in 1942, but despite research has been unable to find out any more details about him.  Pete himself, when not battling with rusty jeeps, takes great interest in WWI & II history and has visited many places of historical significance in the UK and Europe.
